Dedicated to an important event in world sports life - the XXXII Summer Olympic Games, which are scheduled in the capital of Japan - Tokyo and which expand the sports program with new sports. International competitions are held under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee within the Olympic Movement.
On the obverse of the coin are placed: the small State Emblem of Ukraine (left); a composition stylized like the art of origami, symbolizing the close connection of Japanese national architecture with the natural environment, divided into two parts - a stylized stream with fish, a sakura flower (left) and Tokyo architectural structures (right); in the center on a mirror background inscriptions: UKRAINE (vertically), denomination - 2 HRYVNA (vertically); year of issue 2020 (right); on the left on a mirror background - the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The reverse of the coin above depicts a stylized sun disk against the backdrop of Mount Fuji; below - the logo of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine; in the center on a mirror background stylized origami images depicting some Olympic sports.
