This coin commemorates the Lutsk Orthodox Fellowship of the True Cross - a national,
religious and community-based organization of the Volyn Orthodox Polish gentry.
The fellowship strived to preserve and protect Orthodoxy in Volyn, and played an important role
in the region`s social and political life in the first half of the 17th century.
Fellowships founded in Lviv, Kyiv, Lutsk, Ostroh, Vilnia and other places in the late 16th
and early 17th centuries were involved in charitable, cultural and educational activities.
As part of their efforts, they established hospitals, schools and printing houses, erected churches
and monasteries, and distributed books promoting culture and science.

It is dedicated to one of the pages of Ukrainian cultural heritage - works of carpet art of Poltava region, which are characterized by a special stylization of plant floral motifs in the form of broken branches with flowers and leaves. Reshetyliv masters of weaving, carpet weaving and embroidery have been known throughout Ukraine since the end of the 19th century. Traditions of plant carpet weaving Reshetylivka, a real treasure trove of Ukrainian folk art, in 2017 were included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
On the obverse of the coin are placed: in the center on a mirror background of the outline of the landscape - a small State Emblem of Ukraine (left), the tree of life - a traditional symbol in the ornamentation of Ukrainian woven carpets, towels, Easter eggs, etc .; on the right there is a denomination - 5, on the background of stylized carpets there are inscriptions: UKRAINE (on the left), HRYVN (on the right); below - the year of coinage - 2021; in the center, to the right of the tree of life - the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The reverse of the coin depicts the composition: on the left - a mirror outline of the weaver at work, on the right - a colored fragment of the carpet and the inscription in a semicircle: RESHETILIVSKE KILIMARSTVO (on a mirror background).
