Dedicated to the well-known Ukrainian film studio, whose long history has created a large number of popular films. The Odessa film studio of feature films was organized in 1919 on the basis of several private productions ("Miragraf" (1907), "Mizrach" (1914), film studio K. Borisov and the film factory D. Kharitonov). A. Dovzhenko started his creative work at the film studio (Zvenigora, Arsenal films), L. Kurbas ("Swedish Match"), artist and director I. Kavaleridze ("The Drain") worked on the creative activity of K. Muratova, actors M. Zankovetska, N. Uzhvy, G. Yura and many others worked there. Odessa Film Studio - favorite place of creativity of many famous directors. More than 300 films have been filmed at the film studio, more than 1500 films have been made to popular films, including "The Imperial Castle", "The place of the meeting can not be changed", "In search of Captain Grant", "The Ten Negroes", "The Green Box" "," D'Artagnan and three musketeers "and others.
On the obverse there is a coin: on the left there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, above which is the inscription UKRAINE; under the coat of arms on a matte background - the building of the studio, to the right of which is the verbal inscription ПЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ; on the background of a stylized film the inscription: 20/19 (the logo of the studio is inscribed in a null, with the inscription ОДЕСКАЯ КІНОСТУДІЯ); The logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (below).
On the reverse of the coin is depicted: a stylized inscription on the year of the founding of the studio - 19/19; left at the bottom on a matte background - mirrored apricot of retro-cinema cameras; At the top right of the mirror background is a cinema-chopper (a tool used to synchronize the sound and image while shooting).

The commemorative coin is dedicated to an industrial and agrarian region of Ukraine washed by the Black Sea and Sea of Azov. The land of Kherson has unique steppe biosphere reserves and very long history; it is a land of Cossack glory, the cradle of our shipbuilding.
Obverse: bears the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine (above) with the semicircular inscriptions НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above and П`ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (five hryvnias) beneath and the coin issue year indication 2014 under the coat of arms; to the right there is the mark of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint; in the center there is a gate of the Kherson fortress, one of the oldest structures of the city of Kherson; to the right there is depicted the Adziogol Lighthouse built according to design of Vladimir Shukhov, an engineer and scholar; over the gate there is depicted a vessel as a symbol of the port and shipbuilding; to the left - three dolphins, below - gifts of the Kherson Oblast fields: water melon, tomato, grape, wheatears.
Reverse: bears the Oblast coat of arms with the semicircular inscriptions: ХЕРСОНСЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ (Kherson Oblast) above and ЗАСНОВАНА У 1944 РОЦІ (established in 1944 year) below.
