This coin celebrates folk art depicting the culture, science and daily routines that Ukrainians have inherited from previous generations. This inheritance is represented by the ancient signs and symbols of the Sun, life forces, the evolution of the Universe, and life in general. These signs and symbols are assets of the unique and universal material and spiritual culture of Ukrainians, which are represented as a code on painted eggs, vyshyvankas, ornaments and so on.
Obverse: above is Ukraine`s small coat of arms (gold-plated), above which is the coin’s issue year – 2021; beneath are the following semicircular legends: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) and 10 ГРИВЕНЬ (10 hryvnias); in the center is a spiral decorated with signs, symbols, protective amulets and ornaments – a symbol with multiple meanings depicting the evolution of the Universe, development, continuity, the rhythm of breathing, and life itself.
Reverse: surrounded by stylized vegetation symbolizing Ukraine’s picturesque landscapes is a gold-plated figure of Cossack Mamay, who embodies the Ukrainian mindset and represents the love for freedom, and the immortality of the Ukrainian people. The Cossack holds a stylized Ukrainian sky, Ukrainian culture, and the inheritance built up by the people over many centuries. Above is the legend СПАДОК (inheritance).

Dedicated to a military and political figure, a person who symbolizes the heredity of the Ukrainian national liberation struggle - Eugene Mikhailovich Konovalets. E. Konovalets - Colonel of the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic, Commander of the Ukrainian Military Organization, Chairman of the Ukrainian Nationalists, Chairman of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists - a political movement that aimed to build an independent Ukrainian state in all Ukrainian ethnic lands. He built a Sich formation into the Sich Rifle Regiment, which was the most organized and disciplined part of the UPR Army.
On the obverse of the coin there are: on the background of a viburnum branch, which frames the coin on the left - a small State Emblem of Ukraine (above), to the right of which the inscription УКРАЇНА; in the center, on a mirror background, - faleristic monument of the liberation struggle in the form of a monogram of two letters "C", intertwined with a branch of red viburnum - military award "Rifle Council" of the Board of Sich Riflemen Commander Eugene Konovalets 1918 - 1919; to the right of which are the words of E. Konovalets:… БУДЕМО/ МАТИ СИЛУ,/ ТОДІ ВИЙДЕМО/ ПОБІДНО/ З НАЙГІРШОГО/ ЛИХОЛІТТЯ/ І ЗДОБУДЕМО/ ВСЕ, ЩО НАМ/ ТРЕБА. and his facsimile; bottom: coin denomination - 2 ГРИВНІ and year of coinage - 2021; logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the left of the military insignia).
The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized portrait of Yevhen Konovalets on a mirror background, to the left of which is the inscription ОУН and a stylized trident with a sword; on the right inscriptions: ЄВГЕН КОНОВАЛЕЦЬ (semicircle), years of life 1891 - 1938 (below).
