Dedicated to one of the largest stone and earthen fortresses in the world, which has survived to this day - a complex of unique fortifications, which was formed over many centuries. Today, the National Historical and Architectural Museum "Kyiv Fortress" is a unique museum complex, many buildings of which are associated with the history of social liberation movements in Ukraine.
On the obverse of the coin are placed: at the top on the background of a stylized composition dedicated to the Kiev fortress (fragment of the arched entrance), - a small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which - the inscription УКРАЇНА; below on a mirror background - a key under which inscriptions - 5 / ГРИВЕНЬ / 2021; logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the right of the key).
The reverse of the coin depicts the composition: Kyiv Fortress (view from a bird's eye view), to the right of which is a diagram of the fortress fortifications; below the inscriptions: КИЇВСЬКА (on a mirror background), ФОРТЕЦЯ/XVIII–XIX ст. (against the outline of the teeth of the fortress).

It is dedicated to one of the pages of Ukrainian cultural heritage - works of carpet art of Poltava region, which are characterized by a special stylization of plant floral motifs in the form of broken branches with flowers and leaves. Reshetyliv masters of weaving, carpet weaving and embroidery have been known throughout Ukraine since the end of the 19th century. Traditions of plant carpet weaving Reshetylivka, a real treasure trove of Ukrainian folk art, in 2017 were included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
On the obverse of the coin are placed: in the center on a mirror background of the outline of the landscape - a small State Emblem of Ukraine (left), the tree of life - a traditional symbol in the ornamentation of Ukrainian woven carpets, towels, Easter eggs, etc .; on the right there is a denomination - 10, on the background of stylized carpets there are inscriptions: UKRAINE (on the left), HRYVN (on the right); below - the year of coinage - 2021.
On the reverse of the coins there is a composition: on the left - a mirror outline of the weaver at work, on the right - a colored fragment of the carpet and an inscription in a semicircle
